Khoya paya... π€π₯
Song analysis~
Khoya paya~ Amit Trivedi
"Khoya Paya" sounds like an anthem of one's life. It makes us recognise the uncertainty of life. It makes us sense the significance of every second of our life. It encourages us how to experience the present as opposed to spending the present to design what's to come.
//Aankho me joh paani sa hain, Dheere dheere beh jayega,
Jiske peeche bhaga tha tu, Tere peeche reh jayega...//
It made me to understand that we all are pursuing a fantasy life which we have longed for in the wake of seeing somebody driving a daily existence like that. We have made someone our idol and we are dreaming about leading a life like them. Yet, imagine a scenario where we never get an opportunity to see what's to come. Consider the possibility that we have nobody to share our prosperity and bliss with.
//Khoya Paaya Tune Hai Kya, Ab Tu Kahe Ginti Kare?
Jeena Tha Jab Jiya Nahi, Ab Jeene Ki Vinti Kare...//
This reminded me of the monotonous life, we are leading. We don't have any time for our friends, our family and our colleagues. Sometimes, we even struggle to find "me" time for ourselves. What is the gain in leading such a existence where we are simply running aimlessly behind our future without enjoying in the present with our dearest ones?
//Jivan fir se milna nahi, Jile jile jile abhi...//
This made me feel the genuine significance of life. Only a successful life isn't a happy one. While running behind success, we lose the best times of our lives. We lose our childhood by dreaming about top engineering and medical colleges. We lose our college life by trying to get placement at a good office. We lose our bachelor life by trying to get a job offer from a better company. We lose our married life by working overtimes just to earn a little more.
After losing good times and good people, when it's time for us to live this world behind, we say to ourselves remorsefully "I wish, I had enjoyed those days with my school friends, baba, maa, my college mates, my colleagues, my wife, my lovely children..."
Isn't it better to make every second count? So that when are enjoying the last few days of our life, we can remember the greatest days which we had spent instead of lamenting over the way that we never got an opportunity to investigate the beautiful and energizing side of life...
