Airport... 🖤🥀
I sat there at the airport with a ticket in my hand. My flight 89B was delayed for one and half hour and due to some miscommunication, they were unable to notify me about it. At the airport, emotional farewells and some heart warming welcomes were witnessed by me.
The mother was hugging her son with teary eyes. He was going away from his mother, one half of his heart. He was assuring her to come back soon in a cool and calm tone but his heart was as shattered as hers.
The sobbing bride was hugging a middle-aged man tightly. Later on, it was understood that the man was nobody else other than her father. After all these years of living as a princess, she was leaving her abode forever. She was going to be someone else's daughter now.
The little boy was running towards his father. He was returning from his military camp. As soon as the child saw a glimpse of his father, he ran and jumped on him to get all the love and attention which was waiting for him. Entire airport was filled with his satisfactory giggles.
The tall boy ran towards his best friend whom he had kept on promising of meeting someday. Finally, they met each other after a Friendship of four long years. The joy of laughter and the tears in their eyes showed that long distance friendship is not a myth.
There was the two young lovers who got married recently. They were visiting this city. Their faces were glowing with joy. One can read the love blooming in their hears from their exquisite eyes.
And then, it was announced "Good afternoon passengers. This is the pre-boarding announcement for flight 89B..." And there I was going away from this city. I had nobody to bid farewell, nobody to hug, nobody to console. I was the hopeless child, lover, friend and employee who was going to start a new life at a new city where I would be a stranger, a complete stranger...
